The time has come for us to think

To not offend atheists
We must forbid school prayer
The
ACLU joined her cause
Told the courts she's right
So in school prayer was banished
Without much of a fight.
No
Bible, Torah, or Koran,
They teach God and creation
We gave in without much fuss
Cause we're so civilized a nation
Forbidden
books so useful
Strong morals to instill
Each of these in their own words
Proclaim thou shall not kill.
Then
Dr. Spock convinced us
That spanking was too mean
It will warp our children
Bruise their self esteem
Self
esteem that's never bruised
Builds no strength and remains tender
The real world doesn't care
About your self esteem, remember
So
how will they ever cope
When their self esteem is trampled
By peers, bosses, and lovers
Are going postal and school shootings examples?
Teenage
abortions must be allowed
No need for parental consent
To not face her mom and dad
Saves her embarrassment
Give
all the boys free condoms
We'll protect them in this way
Cause you know boys will be boys
And boys all want to play
Then
the leaders of our land
Put low moral on display
As long as they do their jobs
Their private sins should be OK
It's
been a long time coming
Inch by inch we watched it grow
The banished Bible says it best
You shall reap just what you sow.
